Starting in Africa for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Marvelous Nakamba captained Zimbabwe to draws against Rwanda and Nigeria, who have had an 18-month suspension lifted by FIFA.
The Warriors currently sit fifth in a competitive Group C, with fixtures against Lesotho and South Africa to come in the next batch of qualifiers in summer 2024.

Issa Kaboré also featured in a World Cup qualifier for Burkina Faso but was injured after 45 minutes in their draw against Guinea-Bissau.
Moving to Europe, captain Tom Lockyer will need to go through the play-offs for Wales to qualify for Euro 2024.
The skipper did not feature in the draw at Armenia before starting in the final group-stage match, where Wales missed out on automatic qualification when they were held to a controversial draw with Turkey.
