Starting in League One, goalkeeper Harry Isted has impressed for Barnsley, starting their last six games and conceding on just three occasions. The 26-year-old played 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet at Bristol Rovers on the weekend before winning 3-1 against Matt Macey’s Portsmouth on Tuesday night.

Goalkeeper Macey did start and keep a clean sheet in the 1-0 win for Pompey at Cambridge United on Saturday ahead of their defeat at Barnsley in midweek. That result leaves Portsmouth in 10th place, ten points behind the League One play-offs.

Moving onto League Two, John McAtee was rested on Saturday as Grimsby Town fell to defeat at promotion-chasing Carlisle United, then returned to the starting line-up in style during midweek as he scored an incredible lob from the edge of the box to open the scoring in the Mariners’ 1-1 draw with Newport County.
