'They Played for David Pleat at Luton Town' book signing!

Three former Hatters will be in attendance at the Park Street store this Saturday to sign copies of 'They Played for David Pleat at Luton Town'!

Godfrey Ingram, Steve White and Mike Saxby will join author Phil Duffy at the store between 11:30am and 1pm this Saturday, prior to the home match against Stoke City.
 
The trio will also sign copies at the Stadium Store after the match.
 
Local boy Ingram was a schoolboy prodigy, starring for England schoolboys and signed for the Hatters in 1977. He made 33 appearances during his time at Kenilworth Road.
 
White caught the eye of David Pleat when playing for Bristol Rovers after he scored a brace against the Hatters, he ended up moving to Kenilworth Road in December 1979. His goals helped the Town to promotion to the top flight in the 1981/82 season and he ended his Hatters tenure with 26 goals in 83 appearances.
 
David Pleat brought Saxby to Kenilworth Road in 1979 where he soon formed a solid defensive partnership with Paul Price and later Mal Donaghy, making a total of 91 apperances for the club.
