We are delighted that two Hatters have been recognised for their immense contribution to Luton Town Football Club both on and off the pitch.

Town fan Les Miller was announced as the Supporter of the Season at tonight’s 2023 EFL Awards ceremony in London.

The Supporter of the Season Award seeks to provide recognition and praise for a passionate and loyal supporter, who has demonstrated their support, dedication and commitment to their Club, its community and fellow supporters.

Les has a long history of supporting Luton Town. He has played a pivotal role for decades, helping to set up the Club’s Supporters Trust and being supportive to Club staff and fellow fans. He was integral to the formation of the Bobbers Travel Club in 1979, setup to help transport fans to home and away games.

A committed family man, Les also looks after his disabled wife Sue, and runs his own accountancy business in Bedford. Despite this Les never fails to miss a committee meeting or any Trust activities and he has become a vital link between the Club and supporters.

For his on-pitch performances, Hatters defender Tom Lockyer was named in the Championship Team of the Season.

The 28-year-old was out of the side at the start of the campaign, but since returning in game five for the first win of the season at Swansea City, the Wales international has not looked back.

His performances over the next two months earned a recall to the Welsh squad in time for the World Cup, and since returning from Qatar the centre-half has gone from strength to strength at the heart of the Championship's third tightest defence.

Congratulations to both Les and Locks from all the Club - we're proud of you both!
