Dion Pereira and Carlos Mendes Gomes were both amongst the goals at the weekend for Bradford City and Fleetwood Town respectively!
The latter - Mendes Gomes - scored once and set up two goals in a 3-0 home win against Accrington Stanley. The Spaniard scored his fourth goal for the Cods in all competitions and celebrated his opener in style (below).
He then teed up Shaun Rooney after good work on the left-hand-side, switching the ball to the un-marked Rooney who scored with a first-time strike. Five minutes later, he provided his second assist from a corner which Josh Earl was on the end of, condemning Stanley to a fifth consecutive league defeat.
Admiral Muskwe has missed the last four matches through injury whilst elsewhere in League One, Elliot Thorpe was absent from the matchday squad as Burton Albion were defeated by Sheffield Wednesday.
In League Two, Bradford were left frustrated after drawing against Crawley Town. Pereira had put the Bantams ahead with a superb chipped finish, but the away side hit back five minutes later. Mark Hughes' side remain in the play-off places, however, with an FA Cup tie against Harrogate Town up next.
