Luton Town Football Club are amongst a number of clubs in the EFL that have joined forces to support the Green Club initiative.

As a club we are wholly committed to improving our environmental practices and operations as we continue our journey towards Power Court and a more sustainable future.

Powered by GreenCode, the EFL Green Clubs scheme provides a framework for us to improve our approach to environmental sustainability, offering bespoke guidance and practical advice to help implement continual change.

As all EFL clubs will be at different stages of their environmental journey, when club operations are at the required level for a full audit, they will be put forward to become GreenCode accredited, which is the ultimate goal.

Players at the training ground are also supporting Utilita's Football Rebooted campaign, by recycling old, worn football boots as Utilita continue their mission to rehome more than one million pairs of boots across the UK.

You can read more about the EFL initiative HERE.

We also wanted to highlight some of the things we as a club are already doing – which we don’t often talk about, but demonstrate our commitment to being more sustainable and lowering our impact.
