2021/22 in numbers | James Shea

Town's number one enjoyed a successful season before a serious knee injury during the win against Cardiff City ended his campaign prematurely.

He started the season as back-up to Simon Sluga, but after coming in against Nottingham Forest and keeping a clean-sheet in Sluga's absence, Shea then enjoyed a run of games in the side.

The 30-year-old made a selection of impressive stops against Blackpool and kept his place for the next 10 successive league matches.

After amassing nine clean sheets in 21 appearances, Shea signed a new contract following his injury against Cardiff City to extend his five-year stay at Kenilworth Road.
