As Luton supporters will be well familiar with, Mark has been cycling to EVERY away match this season - which is approximately 3,000 miles in total with elevation equivalent to climbing Mount Everest three times.

The monumental effort has been recognised by not only Luton supporters but supporters of all clubs he has travelled to and now the EFL - amongst the three people shortlisted for the new award this season.

In total, Mark has so far raised £9,331 for Keech Hospice, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and Prostate Cancer UK.

His most recent gruelling trip to Huddersfield was completed in 10 and a half hours despite navigation taking him an extra 10 miles on his journey but throughout the season, Mark has not let setbacks deter him.

He recently suffered with Covid which prevented him from travelling to the away match to see the Hatters in action against Hull City, so the following weekend, he cycled during the international break to tick the MKM Stadium off his list for the season.

Speaking at the start of his challenge, Mark said: “The support and encouragement is quite emotional because I don’t receive complements easily. When I see comments on Twitter saying, ‘you’re a legend’, I feel like you can’t use that word for me, use it for the likes of Mick Harford! It doesn’t feel right used on someone like me, I’m just a normal bloke trying to raise money and it is those sorts of things that make me smile.”

Well, we think you're a legend Mark - congratulations on your well-deserved nomination!

The winner will be announced at the EFL award ceremony on Sunday 24th April, an event which Mark will be attending along with club officials.
