We are pleased to announce that Kal Naismith has won the Diamond Player of the Month for August!
Deputising as captain in the absence of Sonny Bradley, Naismith performed exceptionally well at centre-back and helped keep three clean-sheets in the opening five league matches against Peterborough United, Barnsley and Sheffield United.
With 35 per cent of the vote, Naismith beat second place Gabe Osho to the award, and during the five games he completed an impressive 62 interceptions – the most of all players in the Sky Bet Championship.
We can also confirm that Diamond Season Ticket holder David Nicholls has been drawn from the hat from those that voted for Kal and if available will be offered two seats in Hospitality for the Home fixture against Coventry on 29th September.
