Town’s U18s were pegged back twice during a 2-2 draw with Northampton Town on Saturday.
After scoring the week prior in the second round EFL Youth Alliance Cup win against Leyton Orient, Josh Allen found the back of the net once more inside the first 30 minutes with a low strike from the edge of the box.
Northampton equalised two minutes later however, before the Hatters made a great start after half-time, regaining the lead through Millar Matthews-Lewis.
The away side replied once more just after the hour as Town were forced to settle for a draw, but in the process extended their league unbeaten run to six matches.
Elsewhere, our development squad are in action tomorrow afternoon versus Millwall.
