Goals from Sonny Bradley and Elliot Lee earned the Hatters a vital three points which helped preserve their Sky Bet Championship status in 2020!

After an upturn in form after lockdown, Town battled back from the brink under Nathan Jones, collecting three wins away from home including victory at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Following a cagey opening 45, captain Bradley climbed highest in the box to head home for the Hatters, scoring his third and arguably most important goal of the season.

Chances at both ends followed after Town went ahead before Luke Berry played a superb long ball forward to James Collins, who drove into the box and hit the post. The opportunity for a second goal was still alive though, as the ball came rolling out to Lee, and with one touch to compose himself, thumped home another in some style.

The two second half goals helped Jones’ side climb off the bottom of the table heading into the three remaining matches, where Town would pick up seven points to remain in the division.
