The Hatters are back on the road for a Sunday Sky Bet Championship fixture against Bristol City.
On the back of two wins and a draw, Nathan Jones’ side head to Ashton Gate full of confidence with the opportunity to move further into the top half of the table.
Nathan Jones said:
Bristol City gained promotion to the Championship after winning the League One title in 2015. They have remained in the second division ever since and currently sit 16th in the table, having picked up two points in their last five matches.
The manager – Nigel Pearson
Nigel Pearson is well renown in the game and has managed the likes of Southampton, Leicester City and Derby County.
His time with Watford ended abruptly prior to his switch to Ashton Gate earlier this year and his aim on Sunday will be looking to move the Robins up to 14th position in the Sky Bet Championship.
Main threat – Nahki Wells
The 30-year-old is Bristol City’s joint top scorer this season with ten goals to his name in all competitions.
He has prior Championship experience before his move to Ashton Gate, having played for the likes of Huddersfield Town, Burnley and QPR.
