The Hatters hope to extend their two-game unbeaten run tomorrow afternoon when Brentford arrive at Kenilworth Road.
Town earned a point against Nottingham Forest midweek, as did the Bees who drew at home with Norwich.
The teams are currently seperated by two points in the Sky Bet Championship, with the Hatters in 9th place and Brentford 11th.

On Ivan Toney: “He was originally at Newcastle, he’s had a number of loan moves, then found a home at Peterborough, did really well and now doing very well again. Today they had Lyle Taylor who was prolific in League One, before we came up against Fletcher of Stoke. Every team in this division has top players.
“We’ve come up against him before with Northampton, but it’s only now that he has really hit the heights he’s hitting, and he is proving to be a fantastic striker. Brentford are a top side, as Luton found out last year so there isn’t just that threat, they have a number of threats.”
On Brentford’s quality: “Can you name me an easy game in the Championship? It’s going to be tough, Brentford, Rotherham away, Huddersfield, Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke the week before, a lot of ex-Premier League clubs and we’re competing with those so it’s all going to be tough.
“We have to be at our best, that’s why we have the use the squad, we have to be structurally good, dominant when we can, take our opportunities, defend well, all the things we have to do on a relentless basis and that’s the problem because it will water down quality eventually.
“Thankfully there is an international break coming up so we have to get through three more games, hopefully pick up a good amount of points and then we can deflate slightly and recoup because at the minute there is a dangerous amount of games that keep coming up.
“We’ve got a lot of people coming back as well, James Bree, Dan Potts, James Collins came back tonight, Harry Cornick is due to come back, we have a good, strong squad.”
Who?
The Bees narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, following their play-off final defeat against Fulham.
A dangerous side full of talent, Brentford are embarking on their sixth consecutive Championship season this campaign and will be no doubt hoping for a top six finish once again.
The manager – Thomas Frank
Thomas Frank, who took charge of the Bees in October 2018 following the departure of Dean Smith, has had a successful time in charge.
In his first full season last term, Brentford finished 3rd and made it to the play-off final but lost out to Fulham at Wembley.
Main threat – Ivan Toney
Brentford’s big money summer signing has been in fine form since joining from Peterborough, scoring eight goals in eight matches – including three braces.
Despite last season’s League One campaign ending early due to the pandemic, Toney still amassed a very impressive 24 league goals, which prompted the Bees to splash the cash.

Man in the middle?
The referee for tomorrow's match is Michael Salisbury and he last refereed the Hatters when they clinched the League One title with a 3-1 win against Oxford back in May 2019.
Played before?
The two sides faced off in February and the Hatters were 2-1 winners at Kenilworth Road. An own goal from Shandon Baptiste and a fine finish from Martin Cranie gave Town victory on the night.
