Luton Town manager Matt Bloomfield spoke to the local press this afternoon ahead of this weekend's first away fixture of the Sky Bet League One season, with the relatively short trip to Peterborough United coming up on Saturday - 12.30pm kick-off.
Matt revealed that no new injuries were sustained during Friday night's 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon, but that new signings Cohen Bramall and Jerry Yates were still being brought up to speed after not playing any minutes during pre-season so far.
There were also positive updates regarding Tahith Chong, who is back on the grass but not in full training yet as he recovers from a groin injury, and midfielder Marvelous Nakamba who continued his return to full fitness with 45 minutes in the Under-21s' friendly win over Leyton Orient today.
Lamine Fanne and Mark McGuinness, who both appeared as second half substitutes against the Dons, also played as they continue to build their fitness after concussion and illness disrupted their respective pre-seasons.
Joshua Phillips and Lasse Nordås were the Town goalscorers in the 2-1 victory over the O's in a game played at The Brache.
