James Justin brace gives Town youngsters victory
The Town Under-18s ended 2014 on a high by extending their unbeaten league run to seven matches after a 2-0 win at Gillingham on Saturday morning.
Two goals in as many second half minutes from James Justin gave the Hatters youngsters their third win in their last four Youth Alliance matches.
A delighted boss Paul Driver told lutontown.co.uk: “It was a game of few chances and while we dominated it was always going to be a case of getting the first goal.
“I felt once we got in front we’d go on and win and that was the case. It was an all-round excellent performance and a great way to end the year.
“We’re in a good position in the league now and I’m happy with the group’s progress during this first half of the campaign.”
