Talented young forward who moved to Kenilworth Road in the summer of 2015 after spending six years at Ipswich Town, where he came through the academy.
Marriott played twice for Ipswich in the Football League, but gained experience on loan at Colchester, Gillingham and Carlisle, as well as in three spells at Conference club Woking, where he impressed in matches against the Hatters. After a bright start to his Luton career, Marriott signed a two-year contract extension before the opening month of the season was out and his goalscoring form continued throughout 2015-16, with 16 in 25 starts in all competitions earning him our supporters’ player of the year award. Rewarded with a new three-year deal in late July 2016 and reached double figures for the season once again with a goal at Accrington in the penultimate league game of 2016-17.
