Luton Town legend who returned to Kenilworth Road in January 2016, soon after Nathan Jones' appointment as manager, to head up the recruitment side of the club.

First joined the Hatters as a player in 1984 and spent six years leading the line in the old First Division, before returning in 1991-92 for a second spell.

At the end of his playing career the ex-England international returned as coach, then director of football and finally manager, winning the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in 2009.

When Jones left for Stoke in January 2019, Big Mick once more stepped up as interim manager to lead the team to promotion as League One champions, completing a club record 28-game unbeaten league run and winning the LMA Manager of the Year award for the division in the process, before handing over to Graeme Jones and returning to role as chief recruitment officer.

When Nathan Jones returned to the club during the Covid-19 lockdown in May 2020, Mick was named as his assistant while also continuing to head up the recruitment side of the club.
