Luton-born former Tottenham, Brentford and Torquay goalkeeper Dearden joined the Town's coaching staff in December 2014.

After hanging up his gloves, he took over the goalkeeper coach position at Leyton Orient in 2008 before leaving to join the Town under former manager John Still.

Dearden has continued his excellent work with some top keepers during his time at the Kenny, helping the club to back-to-back promotions from League Two to the Championship and then establishing the side in the second tier.

Kev became head of goalkeeping in 2019 with goalkeeper coach Imanol Exteberria working under him, then after the Spaniard's departure, former Town keeper Kevin Pilkington filling that role.

In the summer of 2023, following promotion to the Premier League, Dearden took on the role of team operations manager.
