Boss Rob Edwards says he expects to pick a side from the same squad that has been on duty in recent weeks as he prepares the Town to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
“It’ll be similar to what we’ve had to pick from recently,” Edwards said at his press conference on Friday afternoon The Brache.
However, the manager admitted that striker Elijah Adebayo has had a set-back in his recovery from a hamstring injury and will still be unavailable after the international break.
“Eli’s pushed but it’s worse than expected and he’s feeling it again so we have to be really careful with now,” admitted Edwards.
Sambi Lokonga is probably the player closest to making a comeback although this seems likely to happen after the international break.
Meanwhile Tahith Chong is fit to feature against Forest despite taking a knock at Bournemouth on Wednesday and Ross Barkley’s nose is healing after the midfielder broke it in the draw at Crystal Palace.
