Luton Town kick-off their pre-season preparations against non-league neighbours Hitchin Town on Friday evening.

Top Field is expected to be at sell-out capacity as the Hatters roll into town, with new signings Alfie Doughty, Cauley Woodrow and Matt Macey likely to feature for the first time.

The gaffer said:

"We have a good relationship with Hitchin and we always like going there. There’s obviously a lot of Luton fans living in Hitchin as well so it gives both groups and both clubs to combine and it kicks off our pre-season nicely. We travel away to Slovenia the day after, it’s always a nice fixture, local, good for both clubs, two good clubs that are closely aligned and work together so we’re looking forward to the game."
