Young Hatters striker Josh Allen has joined Isthmian League Premier Division club Cray Wanderers on a one-month loan.
This is the first time that Allen has gone out on loan to experience senior football, after impressing in the Town development squad this season.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Hatters’ academy as an Under-12, also featured on the bench for the first team in the Carabao Cup first round when Newport County came to Kenilworth Road in August.
Allen will hope to aid the Wands’ bid for promotion to National League South, and is eligible for the fourth-placed side’s Boxing Day trip to Margate, which kicks off at 1pm.
