The Hatters could extend their unbeaten run to six matches in the Sky Bet Championship with a positive result on Saturday afternoon against Preston North End.

Victory against Hull City last weekend moved Town up into fifth place, adding to the four points Nathan Jones’ side had picked up in the two matches prior against Millwall and Derby County.

Saturday's match is Preston's Remembrance Day fixture and we will join them in remembering those who gave their life to serve our country, with a minute's silence before kick-off.

After finishing 13th in the Championship last season, Preston have struggled in the opening months of the 2021-22 campaign, with one win in their last nine league matches.

Top scorer Emil Riis Jakobsen will look to increase his goal tally of nine in all competitions with the hope of inspiring Preston back to winning ways

Last time we met:

The Hatters successfully reached the 50-point mark with a well deserved 1-0 win at Deepdale in March thanks to a late own goal from Preston goalkeeper Daniel Iversen.

It was the first time Town had been victorious at Deepdale since 1972 and highlights from the match can be found via the YouTube link below…
