The Hatters academy have put together a fantastic video thanking all the NHS staff and key workers that are integral to the fight against the coronavirus.

Players from different age groups shared their thanks, including those who have parents who continue to go to work to help keep the country running.

The video came just as the government asked for 250,000 volunteers to support the NHS, with important roles such as delivering medication to those who have to self-isolate on the list of ways that people are needed.

So far, an incredible 170,000 people have signed up, and if you want more information as to how you can help, please click here.

A huge credit to head of academy coaching Adrian Forbes, as well as academy staff Ross O’Kane and Simon Dunn for putting the fantastic video together, which you can watch by pressing play above.

The club are wanting to hear from elderly supporters who are finding the current situation a real struggle, whether that's just the need for a conversation, or for somebody to bring them essentials.

If you are one of these people, or know somebody who might be having a difficult time, we want to hear from you. Please email and let us know how we can help.
