Luton Town Football Club is renowned for its work in the local community and we understand that in the current situation, many local people will sadly be affected by the impact of the suspension of activities.
Unfortunately, the Luton Town Community Trust's Wednesday morning social club in the John Moore Lounge at Kenilworth Road has had to be cancelled due to the current advice around social distancing.
All members of the group who attend regularly should have had contact made with them and the Trust will provide support where needed.
It goes without saying that a friendly voice is available as ever on the end of the Trust's phone line if you need a chat.
Regrettably tomorrow’s social club @LutonTown has been cancelled due to the current advice around social distancing. David should have made contact with all our members to ensure we all stay in touch and provide support where needed. If you need us give us a call 01582 561622. pic.twitter.com/UuyUacOxuQ— LTFC Community Trust (@LTFC_Community) March 17, 2020
We encourage anyone, of any age, not to suffer in silence. It's ok not to be ok.
Our mental health and well-being is of paramount importance so please pick up the phone and contact one of the many local charities and help organisations detailed via the link here - including the EFL charity partner Mind - if you feel the need.
Keep well Hatters and please look out for one another.
