At what has been a difficult time for everyone with the Coronavirus pandemic affecting the finances of businesses, families and individuals alike, we wish to thank all of our supporters who have helped the club’s cashflow by purchasing products from our online store, Hatters World, in recent weeks.
Sales have continued steadily throughout the lockdown period and although we haven’t been able to promise express delivery as we would usually like, a skeleton staff – often made up of colleagues covering from different areas of the club – have managed to fulfil orders on a daily basis.
Your custom has been as valuable to Luton Town Football Club as the renewal of season tickets, and the donations of those supporters who have become ‘Legends’ by giving their refunds for 2019-20 back to the club. Every contribution, however big or small, has helped keep the club’s heart beating with no matchday income to live off.
Although the government are allowing non-essential shops to open up their doors this week, we have taken the decision to not re-open our Park Street and Stadium stores just for the time being, but to continue solely for now with online orders via www.hattersworld.co.uk.
We will continue to monitor our position along with other retail activity in Luton to determine when is the best and safest time to return, and will make announcements on club website and social media channels when we plan to re-open our doors to the public.
