Striker Jake Jervis got his first goal for League Two Salford City at the weekend, although he was the only Hatters player out on loan to taste victory on Saturday.

The Ammies won their first ever away game in the EFL, as they defeated Walsall 3-0 at the Banks’s Stadium – with Jervis grabbing his first goal for Salford. That marked his fourth appearance since joining Graham Alexander’s side at the end of August.

Donervon Daniels was on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline as he started in defence for Darren Moore’s League One Doncaster Rovers, slipping to a 2-1 home defeat against Portsmouth. With the game looking like it would finish 1-1, Kenny Jackett’s side grabbed a 91st minute winner, leaving Donny in 10th place with 16 points from their opening ten fixtures.

On loan with National League outfit Solihull Moors, Josh Neufville – who came on as an 83rd minute substitute – was unable to prevent the Moors from slipping to a 1-0 loss, similarly, conceding in added time, as they were beaten at Boreham Wood.
