The Hatters entertain sixth-placed Peterborough United in another huge game at the top of Sky Bet League One tomorrow at a sold out Kenilworth Road.
Still under the interim charge of chief recruitment officer Mick Harford, the Town are unbeaten in 14 league games following last Saturday's resolute and impressive performance in the 1-1 draw at third-placed Sunderland.
They will look to bounce back from suffering a first defeat in 18 league and FA Cup games when they were unlucky to be beaten 1-0 by Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the third round replay at Kenilworth Road.
New signing George Moncur, who joined from Barnsley today for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half year deal, is included in the squad to take on Steve Evans' Posh, who moved back into the play-off positions last week with a home win over Rochdale.
They are currently six points adrift of the Hatters having played the same number of games, but do hold the upper hand over the Town having won 3-1 at the Abax Stadium in August. Peterborough will include recent loan signing from Cardiff City Lee Tomlin, who has returned to the Cambridgeshire side for a second spell.
Tomlin is one of four additions so far this transfer window, with defender Ben White arriving from Brighton, Northern Ireland international Daniel Lafferty from Sheffield United and Fleetwood midfielder Kyle Dempsey - all three on loan until the end of the season.
MICK HARFORD SAYS:
On the players wanting to make up for the 3-1 defeat at Peterborough: "Absolutely, in terms of wanting to make amends for it. You don't like getting beat and I think the performance and what happened actually started to shape our season, in terms of the way Nathan picked his team."
On Posh's away form: "They've got a brilliant away record - they are better away than they are at home, so they are a massive threat. I've watched Peterborough regularly this season so I know what they are all about in terms of shape, what they do and how they want to play. But it just looks like to me that over the last game, against Rochdale, they've brought in a couple of players and they've changed the way they are looking to play in terms of possesion-based football, and they've got a result, so they are a dangerous outfit. They've got good strikers, they've got pace, they've got talented players in Dembele and Maddison and they've signed Tomlin, who is in my opinion, above the level they are playing at. So they are a massive threat."
On Steve Evans: "Steve is very animated on the touchline along with his assistant Paul Raynor. They are very lively and very bright. It's a tactic they use, they try and get into the officials. But that's part of the game, we understand that. They are good lads. They do a good job wherever they go. Steve Evans is a very successful manager. You look at his record in terms of the clubs he's been at and the games he's won percentage, and he gets results, so fair play to him. It'll be a tough game."

WHO?
A side who climbed up from League Two to the Championship in the late Noughties, Posh are looking to make the step back up to the second tier this campaign, with this season marking their sixth consecutive year in League One. Their current top scorer is 17-goal Ivan Toney, who won the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award for December, having netted five times in the league and 10 in all competitions in the final four weeks of 2018.

Tomorrow's match will be refereed by Antony Coggins, who has shown 92 yellows and three red cards in his 25 games this season - including two Hatters matches. Coggins took control of the 2-2 home draw with Charlton and the 4-0 victory over Bradford at the end of November. He also reffed our Checkatrade Trophy tie with Posh at Kenilworth Road last season.

PLAYED BEFORE?
We’ve already played Peterborough twice this season, with Evans' side running out 3-1 winners in the league game at the ABAX Stadium in August when two goals from Jason Cummings and a Siriki Dembele strike in a devastating first-half spell killed the Hatters off. They followed that up with a 2-1 Checkatrade Trophy group stage victory in November, by which time the Town had already qualified for the second round. Of our 28 meetings with Posh, Town have won nine, 12 and lost seven.
