Former Hatters youngsters Craig King and Isaac Galliford return to Kenilworth Road tonight to represent their country as England C take on a Bedfordshire FA representative side to help celebrate the Beds FA's 125th anniversary.

Craig, now 22, made four senior appearances for the Town after coming through the youth ranks - all in the Checkatrade Trophy.

The highlight was undoubtedly the night he saved a penalty from West Brom's Callum McManaman (pictured below) as the Hatters beat a Baggies side containing vast Premier League and international experience, in the form of Wales keeper Boaz Myhill, Swedish defender Jonas Olsson, midfielder Craig Gardner and winger McManaman, who had won the FA Cup with Wigan before joining Albion for £4.75 million.

The Hemel Hempstead lad left Kenilworth Road in the summer of 2017 and, after a spell not playing, has been starring for Oxford City in National League South for the past 15 months, signing a new contract earlier this year until the end of 2019-20.

Midfielder Isaac left the Hatters a year earlier and after a two-year spell playing in America with Butler Bulldogs, the 22-year-old has since returned to English football and is currently playing for Hitchin Town in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Central.

They have been selected by England C boss Paul Fairclough to play against a Beds FA side managed by Jon Reed and containing another former Hatters youth player, Lucas Perry, alongside team-mates from Biggleswade Town, Bedford Town, Barton Rovers and Kempston Rovers.

Kick-off is 7.45pm and admission is £5 for adults and £1 concessions.

Enjoy the night boys!
