Town Professional Development Phase Lead Coach Inigo Idiakez has said that his team knows what they have to do and their mind-set is brilliant ahead of tonight's EFL Youth Alliance Cup National Final at Kenilworth Road against Wigan Athletic.

Entry to the ground will be free, with both the Main Stand and Main Enclosure open for use. There will also be refreshment kiosks open and available on the evening. The game will kick-off at 7pm.

The Town struck twice late on against Oxford United in the semi-final to take the tie to a penalty shootout – Idiakez's men were up to the challenge and calmly booked themselves a place in the final, defeating the U's 7-6 at the Kassam.

The Latics route to the final saw them beat Preston North End at the semi-final stage 3-0, before defeating Hartlepool United in the Northern Final.

This game comes during a period that has already seen plenty of celebrations at Luton Town, Idiakez said: "Not only for the players but for the club, the first team going up, and we go to the final, everyone is looking forward to tomorrow.

"Football is about these things, playing under pressure, playing in front of the crowds at the biggest stadiums, and I have to say they are ready for this.

"They know what they have to do, the mind-set has been brilliant during the week. We've been working on a lot of things and I think they've been doing fantastically. They have to be mentally prepared. I'm telling you, every single day I am trying to prepare them for these kind of games, so I think they are ready for that."

Idiakez hopes the crowd will play an important role for his team, as they look to finish their campaign in style.

"We really need them, to encourage the boys to do it. We really need people to come," he added.
