Nathan Jones and his promotion-winning Luton Town squad celebrated a season to remember with supporters, kit sponsors and staff at the Auction House last night.
Almost 500 attended the University of Bedfordshire-sponsored event, which was brilliantly hosted by Sky Sports football reporter and Hatters fan Faye Carruthers.
Club photographer Gareth Owen was there to capture the evening’s entertainment, which included a Play Your Cards Right game based on Town managers’ win ratios, a raffle and auction that raised funds for club charity of the year Transitions UK and several videos featuring the season’s highlights.
There was also a car pool karaoke style clip produced by University of Beds students to mark the end of our two-year partnership with main sponsors SsangYong, and the club's recent promo video to unveil next season's kits and new sponsors Indigo Residential, Star Platforms and Northern Gas & Power.
Nathan and his staff were interviewed on stage before the five players who were selected in the EFL League Two Team of the Year – Alan Sheehan, Luke Berry, Jack Stacey, Dan Potts and Danny Hylton – were presented with their awards from the league, and chief executive Gary Sweet got sports science Jared Roberts-Smith, physio Simon Parsell, analyst Peter Booker, chief recruitment officer Mick Harford and kit man Darren Cook on stage to receive their runners-up medals.
