Luton Town FC Community Trust are looking for enthusiastic adults who would like to train as community football coaches and put their new skills to work in Luton.
This course begins on the 28th June and runs for 4 weeks. It is designed to be fun and friendly while including formal qualifications including gaining the FA Level 1 Award in Coaching Football and obtaining the FA Safeguarding Children in Football & Emergency First Aid Award.
With the aid of our staff mentors, participants have the the chance to develop existing and new skills, confidence and motivation as well as the opportunity to make new friends and with ongoing support from our coaches during the programme the opportunity to become a Luton ‘community champion’ and become involved in volunteering with the Hatters Community Trust on various projects that can lead to further employment opportunities.
This course is free for men and women who live in the LU1-LU4 postcodes, are aged 19+ and are unemployed and/or in receipt of benefits (proof needs to be provided).
We are holding two information and enrolment evenings Thursday 14th June and Thursday 21st June at our Ely Way training ground - LU4 9QH.
