Hatters' tie with Oxford set for Wednesday 1st March
Following the Hatters’ win over Yeovil in the quarter-final of the Checkatrade Trophy last night, we can confirm the date of the semi-final with Oxford United will be Wednesday 1st March, with a 7.45pm kick-off at Kenilworth Road.
With Oxford also still involved in the FA Cup, a fall-back date of Monday 6th March – with a 7pm kick-off – has been arranged should the League One side require a fifth round replay with Middlesbrough.
Ticket prices for the one-leg semi-final – which will be screened live on Sky Sports – will be announced in due course.
As a result of the Town’s continued involvement in the Checkatrade Trophy, the Sky Bet League Two trip to Newport County – scheduled for Tuesday 28th February – has now been rearranged for Tuesday 21st March.
If Oxford United ARE involved in an FA Cup Replay and the fall back date of Monday 6th March is required, the Hatters will be able at liberty to approach Yeovil – our scheduled opponents on Saturday 4th March – to request a switch to Friday 3rd March if desired.
