We've designated our matches against Swindon Town and Stevenage as our special 'Family Fun Days'.
We were very proud to have been awarded the prestigious 'Family Excellence Award' last season. This accolade is awarded by the EFL to clubs who go the extra mile to make their matchday experience a memorable one for families.
Last season we intoduced a new mascot, Hatty, to help Happy Harry entertain the children around the ground before our matches. We continued with our popular Harry's Lunch Bags, and this season we're offering children who pre-order a lunch bag the chance to win an opportunity to interview a player. Our lunch shack is open ahead of matches for face painting, and games as well as opportunities for selfies with Harry and Hatty.
On a matchday, we still give a lucky family selected at random the chance to sit in the dug-out to watch the warm up, including a family from the visiting club. And of course, our 'Here to Help' volunteers are on hand around the ground to help make your visit to Kenilworth Road a really enjoyable one. Our half-time game 'Half Time Hotshots' has become a fans' favourite, offering an opportunity to kick a few balls on the pitch and maybe even win a season ticket.
This season we're going to be holding special 'Family Fun Days' for selected matches, where additional activities will be put on to help entertain children, mums and dads. Our next Family Fun Day will be ahead of our match against Swindon Town on 9th September, and again for the Stevenage match on October 14th.
Further details will be announced in the coming days, but you can expect to enjoy some great live music, food, our large inflatable goal, games and other entertainment.
