Period of applause for Hatters' FA Cup Final scorer

Before this afternoon's game against Grimsby, there will be a period of applause in tribute to Luton legend Dave Pacey, who passed away this week at the age of 79.

Dave scored the Hatters' goal in the 1959 FA Cup final defeat to Nottingham Forest at Wembley - the only Town players so far to achieve that feat.

His funeral will take place at St Peter and Paul's Church, Newport Pagnell MK16 8AR on Friday 23rd September at 11.30am.

We are joined at the game today by five members of Dave's family, and the thoughts of everyone at Kenilworth Road are with them at this time.
