Hatters boss Nathan Jones after the defeat at home to Grimsby Town
Town boss Nathan Jones said it wasn’t a characteristic performance from his side, as the Hatters went down 2-1 against Grimsby Town.
Two Omar Bogle goals were enough to see off a Luton side who started the game slowly, but with two changes at half time, grew into the match.
Jones said: “That wasn’t us, in the way we played we took so long to come out of the blocks, we weren’t sharp, we didn’t win any battles, we just looked a little bit lacklustre today.
“Maybe we got carried away after last week’s result. We had enough chances to get something out of the game, I think it would be harsh on Grimsby to say we had enough to win the game.
“They weren’t great goals to concede, to allow them to win the header, it’s a bad goal to lose.”
