Nathan Jones speaks to the press after his side's defeat to Crawley Town

Nathan Jones admitted his side underperformed after their defeat to Crawley Town at the Checkatrade.com Stadium, as the Hatters lost 2-0.

Goals from James Collins and Enzio Boldewijn were enough to consign Town to a second defeat on the bounce.

Jones said: “We didn’t play particularly well, at the same time I don’t think we were under any real danger. We controlled the first half without really having that cutting edge.

“Their first goal has come just before halftime, it was poor to concede, a goal at that time and that calibre, it then gives them something to cling on to.

“We didn’t really create enough second half and when we did, we didn’t really look like scoring, we huffed and puffed a bit.”

Town’s next match is at Kenilworth Road next Saturday as they take on Doncaster Rovers.
