The Hatters development side make the short trip down the road to Hitchin’s Top Field, as they take on Northampton Town’s development team this afternoon.
Town fans can expect to see a number of star players who started for the first team last week in the Checkatrade Trophy victory over League One side Gillingham, with the likes of Frankie Musonda, Zane Banton and Akin Famewo all named in today’s squad.
Academy and Development Manager Andy Awford said ahead of today’s game that kicks-off at 1:30pm: “It will be a young side, there will be players who haven’t played since the Gillingham game or they need minutes.
“That’s what we are looking to get out of the game. We are focused on us.”
