McGeehan’s 25-yard strike took him level with the suspended Danny Hylton at the top of the Town goalscoring charts on eight goals, and extended Nathan Jones’ side’s unbeaten run to seven matches in all competitions.
The midfielder told Hatters Player: “I scored another goal which is good, and we look at it as probably another good point in the end. We want to take more before the game, but as it goes on you start to think ‘I’d take a point with it being a late goal’.
“I thought we could have pushed on again for a winner after that, but we take a point, stay unbeaten and go from there.”
