Hatters keeper given green light to talk to former club

The Town can confirm that goalkeeper Mark Tyler has been given permission to talk to Peterborough United.

The 38-year-old has made 297 appearances for the club since joining in 2009.

Manager Nathan Jones confirmed after Saturday's 1-0 win at Leyton Orient that the stopper is unlikely to play for the Town for the remainder of the season with a back injury.

And with that in mind and with Tyler out of contract at the end of the season, the Club have given Tyler the go ahead to speak to former club Posh, who he made over 400 appearances for.
