Hatters' First Round game chosen for live TV coverage
The Hatters’ EFL Cup Round One tie with Sky Bet Championship giants Aston Villa has been selected for live TV coverage.
The Sky Sports cameras will be at Kenilworth Road for the mouth-watering clash with the side recently relegated from the Premier League on Wednesday August 10th, with a 7.45 pm kick-off.
Nathan Jones and his team will be hoping for a capacity crowd to get behind them against what the manager described last week as “the biggest club in the competition at this stage”.
In the immediate aftermath of the draw, he told lutontown.co.uk: “We’ll hope for a big crowd getting right behind us to help produce one of those great cup occasions at Kenilworth Road.”
To that end, we can announce that ticket prices will be kept down in line with those for a category C game.
So with the school summer holidays getting into full swing at that stage, let’s fill the ground and make plenty of noise for Nathan and the boys!
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Adult £18
- Young Adult (18-21) £13
- Senior (65-plus) £13
- Golden Senior (75-plus) £10
- Youth (10-17) £6
- Accompanied Under-10 £3
This match will be reserved seating.
The Oak Road Stand will house away fans only.
Diamond Season Ticket holders can book their seat and one additional seat from Wednesday 29th June at 10am until close of business Monday 11th July.
Season Ticket holders will be able to book their own seat from this date also.
Season ticket holders in the Oak Road Stand can book seats during the priority sales period in other areas of the ground.
During this period supporters will be able to book by phone or in person from the ticket office or e-mail ticketoffice@lutontown.co.uk with a contact number requesting a call back.
From Tuesday July 12th all seats will then be available on general sale. At this time tickets can also be booked online.
Those season ticket holders who completed the Automatic Cup Authorisation forms will receive their tickets for this fixture automatically by post. These will be actioned from Tuesday 28th June.
Diamond season ticket holders will qualify for their free cup ticket for this fixture, however, unless having also completed an Automatic Cup form, they will need to apply for this as normal.
