Recognise our Under-18s' achievements

Stay in your seats at half-time on Saturday and show your appreciation to our Under-18s, who will collect their Youth Alliance championship trophy from the Football League.

Paul Driver’s side have lost just twice on their way to lifting the title, winning 17 of their 21 matches, scoring 57 times and conceding just 12.

The youngsters, who booked their place in the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup with a 1-0 win at Oldham on Wednesday, will receive the trophy from the Football League’s John Clayton.

On Saturday the side take on Northampton in their final Youth Alliance game in the South East section before the merit league begins next month.

Driver will be selecting a largely under-16 side for the game with the Cobblers which takes place at Lea Manor (kick-off 11.15am).

So remember to stay put at the break on Saturday and give the boys the recognition they deserve!
