Huge thanks to SoLYD for Oldham travel gesture

The Hatters would like to thank Supporters of Luton Youth Development (SoLYD) who have contributed heavily towards helping the Town Under-18s’ travel costs for their FA Youth Cup tie at Oldham on Wednesday.

SoLYD, set-up in the Town’s non-league days to supplement the loss of academy funding, will help get Paul Driver’s squad to and from Boundary Park as the Hatters youngsters eye a place in the fifth round of the competition.

Academy and development manager Andy Awford told lutontown.co.uk: “Everyone at the Club, and especially those in the academy, would like to thank SoLYD for this wonderful gesture.

“We are extremely grateful for this as it gives the lads a great opportunity to approach this important game in the right frame of mind. It really will help with their overall matchday preparation.

“SoLYD’s assistance has been extremely helpful in so many ways before I arrived at the club. Their support financially has been tremendous to Luton Town. They are a credit to the Club on the whole.”

Remember you can donate to SoLYD. Every penny raised is used to support the Hatters’ youth development department and their work for the future of our Club.

Last month, SoLYD chose one such donator to be a director for a day. If you would like the chance to win the next amazing prize in the SoLYD draw, all you need to do is to sign up to donate to SoLYD.
