Midfielder returns to Kingfield for rest of the season

Hatters midfielder Matthew Robinson has rejoined National League side Woking on-loan for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old has helped the Cards move to within one point of the Play-Off places during a fine run of form through November and December.

Robinson, who joined the Town from Leicester in the summer of 2012, has featured 13 times for Garry Hill's side, scoring once. Woking host Maidenhead in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

The loan will be extended should Woking make the Play-Offs.

Robinson's loan move comes 24 hours after Zane Banton and Mark Onyemah extended their loans at Hemel Hempstead and Dartford respectively.

Town boss Nathan Jones said at his Thursday press confernece: "You can't evaluate everyone on a day to day basis.

"So a few of them we’ve looked to get out on loan, so that we can get them game time and that will benefit them.

"Then if I'm able to, evaluate that from the games I watch, whether it be live or on DVD, but I can actually see them playing in games and it will benefit me and benefit them."
