Terry Harris and Hakan Hayrettin have left the Town
The Hatters can confirm that Terry Harris and Hakan Hayrettin have both been released from their coaching contracts at Kenilworth Road.
The decision comes following Wednesday evening’s appointment of new manager Nathan Jones.
Harris and Hayrettin both joined the Hatters in 2013 when brought to the Club by previous manager John Still as assistant manager and first team coach respectively.
The pair were instrumental in the Town’s Conference title success of 2013/14 and depart Kenilworth Road with everyone’s thanks and best wishes.
Hatters chief executive Gary Sweet told lutontown.co.uk: “Decisions like this are always very tough for us to make, especially considering Terry and Hakan were part of a successful and memorable season for us.
“However, football can be a harsh and ruthless business at times in order for Club’s like ours to continue our progress, and with Nathan’s arrival as our new manager, we are now looking forward to a direction change in the way we apply ourselves on the pitch.
“On behalf of all the staff at the Club I would like to wish both Terry and Hakan all the very best of luck in their careers and request that supporters fondly remember their time at Luton as vital members of staff who helped deliver the most important promotion in our history.”
