The stats you need to know following Saturday's 2-1 win over Hartlepool

• The Hatters ended a six-match winless streak (D2 L4) on home turf with victory over Hartlepool.

• It was the Town’s first home win under Nathan Jones.

• The Hatters have won just four home games this season – not since 2000/01 have the Town recorded so few wins at Kenilworth Road in a campaign.

• Victory was the Town’s seventh win in their last eight meetings against Hartlepool home and away.

• The Town have now won eight of their 10 home games against Pools (W8 D1 L1). Hartlepool’s sole victory at Kenilworth Road came in 1967.

• Striker Craig Mackail-Smith ended a run of 20 matches without scoring when netting the winning goal.

• It was Mackail-Smith’s fourth goal of the season and only his second from open play.

• Olly Lee has assisted in two of the Hatters’ last three goals.

• Cameron McGeehan scored his 17th goal on his 65th appearance for the club. Three of these goals have come from the penalty spot.

• Alex Lawless made his 197th appearance for the Town, while Mark Tyler is five matches away from his 300th appearance.

• Victory was the Hatters’ 2,114th in their history. Mackail-Smith’s winner was the 8,410th goal.
