LTFC supporters visited the office of LAMP today to delivery some fantastic winter gifts
LTFC supporters visited the office of LAMP today to delivery some fantastic winter gifts for the young homeless people the LAMP charity support in the local area. The 30 packs included a coat, scarf and gloves. Alex Lawless and Craig Mackail-Smith also made an appearance and met some of the recipients.John Archer of LAMP said “It was a fantastic gift from the supporters and will be a great help to our young people in the cold weather ahead. LTFC supporters have taken LAMP to their hearts and we are so grateful for this donation and all the other great events and support they have done or are planning to do to support LAMP during the 2015/16 season."
John Miller (Supporters' Liaison Officer) said "We have all enjoyed working with LAMP, our Supporters Charity of the Year, throughout the season. And it's fantastic that the Club are providing extra practical assistance at this time of the year to help the local homeless".
LAMP is a Christian charity that looks after 16 to 25 year old young people who through no fault of their own find themselves homeless and in need of support, love and encouragement and safe accommodation. It is celebrating 20 years of activity in this field and the support of the local community, like theLTFC Supporters, is vital to allow us to continue to support some of the mostvulnerable in the local area
