Nine great goals have found their way in to League Football Education’s latest edition of Goal of The Month which highlights the best of Under-18 Academy football.
This month’s competition is as competitive as ever and includes two goals from the halfway line, courtesy of AFC Wimbledon midfielder Anthony Hartigan and Barnet U18 full-back Joe Payne. Millwall’s Isaac Olaofe’s contribution is just as eye-catching. The Lions midfielder runs an astonishing 80-yards, leaving a trail of defenders on the floor, before applying a composed finish.
There are also sublime goals from all the other contenders including, prolific Blackburn forward Dan Butterworth, MK Dons starlet Hugo Logan and Luton Town’s Jack Snelus. Jahvan Davidson (Derby), Owen Darwent (Chesterfield) and Reece Williams-Bowers (AFC Wimbledon), complete a strong shortlist.
