Youth striker joins Southern League side for a month
Youth team striker James Verney has joined Evo-Stik League Southern Premier club Kings Langley on a one-month youth loan.
The forward, who recently turned 18, will be available for the Hertfordshire side until 22nd January with academy and development manager Andy Awford seeing the loan as an important part of his learning experience.
“James has been out injured for a little while, but now he’s back fit and this is a great opportunity for him to go and play men’s football,” said Awford. “The experience will stand him in good stead.”
