Town squad make first children's ward visit of the week
Half of the Hatters' first team squad took time out of their preparations for the festive programme this afternoon to visit Bedford Hospital this afternoon.The Town lads took gifts for the youngsters who will be spending their Christmas on the children's ward battling illness.
Strikers Jack Marriott and Isaac Vassell - fresh from the announcement of his new contract - were among the group bringing smiles to the patients' faces.
While defenders Johnny Mullins, Alan Sheehan and Stephen O'Donnell also delivered Hatters scarves and caps and signed autographs.
The other half of Nathan Jones' team will visit the Luton & Dunstable tomorrow to spread further festive cheer among the local hospital wards.
