POWER COURT: A GLIMPSE INTO THE FUTURE

Computer generated images released at #thinkLuton

Luton Town Football Club, as 2020 Developments yesterday unveiled a further glimpse into the future, as 3D models and computer generated images of the proposed new stadium at Power Court were unveiled at a the launch of the Luton Investment Framework in London. 

Hatters Chief Executive Gary Sweet took part in a panel session along with other investors to share their vision for a new Luton. 2020 Developements also presented a model of Newlands Park - the proposed mixed use development at Junction 10 of the M1. 

While speaking on yesterday afternoon's panel, Gary revealed that outline planning permission would be submitted to the council this summer, and that a public consultation process would begin next month. He is hopeful that a decision on planning consent would be forthcoming towards the end of this year, and that the Hatters could be playing in the new stadium in 2020.
